Project Manager - Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling

Project Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and build relationships with pool builders and clients.
  • Responsible for the entire life cycle of all jobs in your territory, this could be up to 25 at one time. This includes coordination of materials, staging areas, access, and clean-up.  
  • Daily on-site visits, constant communication with the client, sub- contractors, crews, and management.
  • Manage up to 16 crews led by a foreman on each crew, this includes aspects of recruiting, retention, and termination.
  • Manage (2) Project Coordinators and work together with them to ensure projects progress according to plan, and that plan is communicated to the clients.
  • Manage Client collections, and invoicing to maintain steady cash flow.  Review warranty and client complaints and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Perform weekly tailgate safety meeting with crews before they head out.
  • Submission of permits to state, city, county.
  • Manage raw materials (cement, sand, pebble, and others) by maintaining stock levels and working with Project Coordinators to anticipate future material demands.
  • Coordinate with other branches in OC and Palm Desert to share crews as needed to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 Years’ experience in Project Management, preferably in pool industry
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a major plus.
  • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certified a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & post offer background check.
