Owners Scott and Mike McKenna were caught red-handed during their senior-year prank using shovels to dig a swimming pool behind their High School football field.
As you can imagine, campus security was not amused. Thankfully, years later, the McKennas harnessed their energy into skillfully and beautifully remodeling swimming pools (both residential and commercial) all over the Southland.
The McKenna brothers, along with their dad, started Trimac Pools in San Diego and built it into a premier swimming pool company. When the opportunity to buy Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling came along in 1994, it was a perfect fit. The McKenna’s in-depth pool construction experience gave them an industry advantage. Now they use their extensive knowledge of the underlying structures of pools and spas to specialize in pool and spa remodeling.
Today, Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling, joined by Josh Owsley, their nephew, is a family-owned and family-run business. The company has three branches serving all of Southern California.
