The Most Energy Efficient Hot Tubs - Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling

The Most Energy Efficient Hot Tubs

Lower Cost to Own and Operate

Any spa owner will tell you that the expense of owning a spa (or a pool, for that matter) doesn’t end with the purchase price. It costs money to run a spa between the pump, heater, chemicals and other expenses. For example, the cost of the heater and non-variable pumps for pools is only exceeded by one other piece of equipment in a home; the air conditioner. So, it behooves anyone in the market to purchase a spa to do their research to not only compare the initial cost of the spa, pouring a concrete pad, running electrical and delivery but, also, the ongoing expense.

The JetPak Therapy System Saves Energy

Because Bullfrog Spas are built completely differently, they utilize about 90% less plumbing than conventional hot tubs. Less plumbing equals less friction and less energy used to get water to the jets. In addition, most of the water delivery system in a Bullfrog Spa is inside the spa, not sitting in a tangle of unheated pipe under the spa. This is something that the other spa manufacturers won’t bring up because you can’t see the plumbing in a showroom. This unique and patented energy-saving feature will keep monthly power bills surprisingly low and will keep you relaxed and worry free!

Leaks and Hidden Cost

Bullfrog Spa’s patented technology that reduces their plumbing by 90% means far fewer leak problems (almost non-existent) with Bullfrog Spas. Imagine a standard spa with 60 jets – every single one of those jets has a pipe connected behind it; 60 jets, 60 connections. 60 connections is 60 opportunities for leaks. Bullfrog Spas have, due to their patented JetPacks, 6 or 8 main connections; one for each JetPack.  Much less of a chance for leaks. In fact, service companies complain that they don’t have enough repair work every time a Bullfrog Spa is sold. Bad for them, good for you.

Full Foam Insulated Hot Tubs

Bullfrog’s full-foam design insulates the spa completely to prevent heat escape. Every single Bullfrog Spa model meets or exceeds the stringent energy guidelines of the California Energy Commission (CEC). With the superior energy efficiency, you will enjoy keeping extra money each month almost as much as you will enjoy relaxing in your spa.

Bullfrog Spas utilize an ultra energy-efficient foam throughout the interior of the spa structure to lock in more heat. A full foam insulated Bullfrog Spa locks in the heat and very little escapes to the outside air. In a poorly insulated conventional hot tub more heat is lost to the outside environment, requiring the hot tub to use more energy to keep the water warm. Couple this with their ABS frame (compared to wood subject to rot and expansion/retraction cracking), there are fewer points of ongoing expense and maintenance.

Bullfrog Spas in LA and Orange County

Why are Bullfrog Spas so differently designed compared to the other guys? Because the industry has remained design stagnant for half a century. Bullfrog came in and reverse engineered the spa design to address all the points of failure or inefficiency it could. While they may be the “new guys” on the block (only 22 years!) they have completely turned the industry on its head.

Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling is proud to offer Bullfrog Spas through our Anaheim showroom. After exhaustive research, we chose Bullfrog Spas for their incredible looks, energy efficiency, and industry-leading innovation. They are built like no other hot tub or spa and are a truly unique and superior product. We believe they fit in perfectly with our ongoing commitment to provide our clients with only the best outdoor living products on the market today.
